Mitchell Ousted From Lake County GOP Booth

I'm sorry to be cluttering your inboxes again so soon, but I wanted you hear what happened today in my campaign to unseat the RINO Sandy Cole. Following up yesterday's message (quoted below) in which I told you that I planned to be at the Lake County Fair, I wanted to tell you about the funny thing that happened to me at the fair:

I was kicked out of the Republican booth. Traditionally, the Republican booth at the Lake County Fair has been a place where all Republican candidates have been welcome to present their information and make contact with the voters. Even primary challengers to Republican incumbents have historically been welcomed there.

Key Democrat Constituency: Convicts

To the casual observer, our federal government would seem to be spinning out of control. To the more attentive observer, it is clear that the spin is intentional. What can one possibly expect when the leadership of the House and Senate has such a high concentration of particulate feces? Then consider the crowning jewel or plastic cherry atop the Statist Sundae, B. Hussein Obnoxious, as official reader of TOTUS and it is clear that the powers that be do not want what is best for our nation.

Barack's partner in The Chicago Annenberg challange, Bill "Unrepentant Domestic Terrorist/Guilty As Hell, Free As A Bird" Ayers must be proud that the infiltration of his radical ilk into the education system has brought the nation to this point. Imagine if the education system had not been hijacked by the likes of The Weather Underground. Imagine if public schools actually taught the negative impact of FDR's idiocy. Imagine if the late Walter Cronkite hadn't inspired generations of biased "journalists". Without these subversive elements our nation would have been deprived the majesty of the Obamas, for substance would have precluded their rise to the top.

"Big Brother" Barry might believe "the stars are aligned" to destroy our medical care in this nation, but it would seem that House and Senate Dimocrats believe "the stars are aligned" to reach out to a key constituency: convicts.

Will taxpayers be paying for the drugs next?

Rep (rehensible) David Obey (D - WI) saw his H.R. 3293 pass yesterday by a vote of 264 - 153. I must say that I was somewhat shocked, when perusing the roll call, to find the NRSC's star "moderate" Mark Kirk in the list of "Nay" voters. I suppose Kirk felt Obey's bill was safe and he could try to save a little face with the annoying conservatives in our wonderful state.

We, as taxpaying citizens have a duty to provide clean needles for intravenous drug abusers. It is our responsibility to perpetuate the habits of these drug users. Anyone can clearly see that the use of an illegal drug does not make the user a criminal, but a victim. It is the law-abiding citizen that is the criminal, or at least the vile oppressor in the age of Obama. As a matter of fact, those who oppose providing clean needles to the dregs of society are probably racists who to quote Dear Reader "acted stupidly" when they voiced opposition.

"Big Brother" Barry's Ministry of Truth (The Washington Post) ignores the nasty notion that HIV and AIDS infections could be minimized by the most radical act of refraining from intravenous drug use. Instead, WaPo celebrates the wasting of taxpayer dollars to exacerbate the problem.

Mark Kirk for President

We, as responsible citizens of Illinois should not waste such an exemplary "moderate" on a run for the Senate! We should think not of ourselves, but our nation as a whole. We are being told that it is a "moderate" like Kirk that can achieve glorious victory, so why think small?

I call upon Representative Kirk to once again step forward for his country and throw his hat into the ring for the 2016 presidential nomination. He can take the time between now and then to decide the appropriate party affiliation for his run.

Of course in order to fully focus on the preparation necessary to mount a successfully "moderate" campaign for President, Kirk needs to withdraw from the Senate race and not seek re-election to his seat in the House. John McCain, Bob Dole, and Gerald Ford have shown that past "moderate" campaigns did not have time to fully take root and grow on the electorate. This is why I suggest a preparation period of at least six years for our star "moderate".

Does being an intellectual require a lack of respect for life? I only ask because 52.7 percent voters placed a man in the nation's highest office who is a supposed intellectual and has outwardly campaigned on behalf of the culture of death. Is this what so-called Republicans who were enamored with the intellect of Obama (let's call them "moderates") expected? Are the FFT (Feckless Fifty Two percent) paying attention to the words of warning that are coming off TOTUS?

How can this push for death be spun by the sycophants? I'm sure we will be treated to a fabulous attempt to paint a smiley face on the alarming position of El Presidente, that is if the press is somehow forced to acknowledge the actual words read or perhaps memorized by "Big Brother" Barry.

Senior citizens find themselves squarely in the cross-hairs of the anti-gun Obama. He does not need a gun, however, as he has the bully pulpit and adoring throngs. AARP has joined the push to eliminate its membership, proving that it is as politically slimy as a labor union or ACORN. What is incredible is the fact that the man actually reads words that directly state his push for killing off seniors!

It has been revealed that Rep. Mark Kirk (IL-10) will be officially announcing his candidacy for U.S. Senate Monday. Observers will surely note that Congressman Kirk has finally decided that the competition he feared is definitely going to sit this election cycle out, so it is time to take the bold plunge.

Kirk is going to be the Republican front-runner and will likely receive support from the NRSC, assuming they believe less liberal will beat more liberal in the fall of 2010. Supporting Mark Kirk for Senate is apparently the "pragmatic" thing to do, at least according to CQ Politics' Bob Benenson (and some who comment on Illinois Review.)

Up Next for SCOTUS: A Wise Transgenda

I fear that the transgendered community is receiving unfair neglect in the identity politics lottery that is the Obama nominating policy. I believe a wise transgenda with the richness of... his and her experiences would make better judgments than someone (particularly a white person without gender confusion) who has not had those experiences.

Who would better empathize with the litigious cross-dressing male who decides to sue an OB-GYN for discrimination because he cannot have a baby? Empathy is, after all, a requirement for a justice appointed by the current reader of TOTUS. In fact empathy is third on the priority list, following only identity and propensity for wealth redistribution.

“Overtaxing the people is immoral” says Lake County Man

Lake County, Illinois-Paul Mitchell, of Hainesville, a candidate for the Republican nomination for State Representative in the 62nd District, spoke before an estimated 200 people this past Independence Day at the Palatine Tea Party about the importance of morality in government.

Quoting John Adams famous remark that "Our Constitution was made only for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other," Mitchell told the cheering crowd, "I say, taxing the people into destitution is immoral!” Mitchell went on to stress the importance of morality as an element of the conservative agenda. He told the crowd that they must work for a culture of life, a culture of liberty, and a culture of prosperity.

Politics is nasty, which is unfortunate because the politicians have so much power to harm so many. I do not know if the environment (no you Enviro-Statists, I am not talking about that environment) has always been this way, but it is clear that the defined duties of various elected positions are not very high on the priority list used to evaluate candidates. It is also clear that the taste of power is intoxicating and in the wrong hands (those of most politicians) can be dangerous.

They cannot get enough! There is nothing they won't do to grow their power, tighten their grips on the lives of the electorate, and feed their massive egos! Private citizens are pawns to be used and if necessary, destroyed for political gain. Political vermin from both parties, but primarily the one represented by the oh so appropriate jackass, view themselves above all and urinate on the little people.

The grip tightens as their benevolent programs, vote purchasing wealth redistribution, and "for the good of (fill in the blank)" regulations shift reliance from the individual to the government. The bastards (male or female) seize control in a fashion that was once creeping but in the age of Obama, is more like a runaway freight train.

Illinois is apparently about to push a hard-charging RINO for the U.S. Senate... any chance the climate change (formerly called global warming, before it became apparent that cooling seems to be occurring) bill will still be there waiting for him? We, as citizens, could not get that lucky. No, the bill for which RINO jerk Mark Kirk voted will likely be gone before he has a chance to support it once again. Representative Kirk will miss the fun of helping to further harm American industry as John Kerry (D(u)-M(b)ass)and his pals intend.
